Asalamalaikum everyone!!!

Welcome to my blog !

My name is Kawsar and I have so much information and ideas I need to share with anyone and everyone who is interested in taking care of their health and well being. I have a strong passion for helping people to reach their best potential in life.

My Vision : To empower Muslim women to make positive decisions in regards to their health and well being.

My Mission: To provide reliable information and create awareness about a range of health issues and products affecting the health and well being of Muslim women.

I have a bachelor’s degree in health science and experience with my own health and well being journey as a young educated muslim woman born in Australia. My experience in the world of health and well being includes pharmacies, Diabetes NSW, the Asthma Foundation and the former Bankstown/Lidcombe aged care centre. All of which have only further increased my insane obsession with health promotion and education.

If you love reading any of my posts, please share them and join in on the discussion. I’d love to hear your opinions and ideas.

Hi Leah. Thanks so much. It’s a great time for us to start being more conscious of our health and wellbeing. I’m happy to help with that journey in any way I can ☺️.

Hi blue , welcome to my blog 😊. Glad we both share a passion for education. What is your PhD in, if you don’t mind me asking.

It is in curriculum design. I do research in online teaching, STEM education and program evaluation. So, very different than health leadership. However, I remember my first year in the Ph.D. program, being so overworked and stressed that I got very sick with pneumonia. It forced me to take a month away from my studies – right at the end of the semester. After that, it’s been a focus for me, to learn how to balance work with play – or as I see it now, personal development. To me, doing things for one’s well being and health is just as important as doing things for one’s career.
